Honda Motor in Japan have announced the recall of nearly 5 million units of their products because of problems at Takata airbag production. So what about the cars of Honda in Indonesia?

Takata airbag components used on many vehicle brands so massive impact.

"Because this is a recall of all brands and in many countries it if there are exposed to the calling improvement course we tell the consumer," said Jonfis a text message to Okezone.

But until now there is no certainty regarding the product recall for Honda cars in Indonesia.

Earlier, in November 2014, HPM announced a recall of 942 Honda Brio, consisting of 668 units of variant Satya (low cost green car / LCGC) and 274 units of 1.2 AT. The withdrawal was done because of the production process that is not in accordance with procedures on the part of the airbag inflator components located at the front of the driver.

Then in December 2014, HPM recall 3,259 units of Honda City 2004 alerts.

"This program is our responsibility to ensure that all our products are in the highest standards in terms of safety and quality, even for products that have long been in the hands of consumers though," said Tomoki Uchida, President Director of HPM, in a press release at the time.

Cause recall at City are similar to Satya Brio and Brio 1.2 AT.
